A newborn baby was found burning in the middle of a road in Pemberton Township, New Jersey, late Friday night, according to police. Neighbors said they saw a woman in her 20s douse the infant in a flammable liquid then set the baby on fire. Officers put out the fire and the baby was airlifted to a nearby hospital with second and third degree burns. The child’s condition has not yet been reported; it is also unknown if the woman was the baby’s mother.
