Yemen's president, prime minister, and several senior officials were injured in the shelling of the presidential compound as tribesmen and government forces fired missiles at one another in the capital, Sanaa. President Ali Abdullah Saleh had a slight head injury, but a government spokesman says he is doing fine and plans to address the media later Friday. Late last month, tribal elements joined with protesters in demanding Saleh's resignation, and began fighting with government troops.
