Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh may have been wounded worse than he's letting on. Sources tell the BBC News that he had a three-inch-long piece of shrapnel under his heart and second-degree burns on his chest and face. He was taken to a military hospital after the rocket attack on his palace and wasn't discharged until late Friday. The prime minister and the speakers of the lower and upper houses of parliament were seriously wounded in the attack and flown to Saudi Arabia for treatment. Sources say Saleh also flew to Saudi Arabia, but the government's information minister denies it. Saleh made a radio address on Friday after the attack, but he has yet to appear in public.
