Ben Stiller is set to vogue it up at the box office in a sequel to 2001’s Zoolander. Nikki Finke reports that Paramount is ready to move on the project, with Tropic Thunder and Iron Man 2 writer Justin Theroux to write and direct. Despite being released a mere 17 days after the tragic events of September 11, 2001, and thus earning dismal returns, Zoolander has developed a cult following. The tale of Stiller’s Derek Zoolander, Owen Wilson’s Hansel, and Will Ferrell’s Mugatu is still a bestseller on iTunes, and “blue steel,” “walk off,” and “center for kids who can’t read good” are firmly imprinted in our collective comedic memory. Jonah Hill is in talks for a role as the film’s villain (because what male model movie would be complete without a villain?). No news yet if Owen Wilson will be involved in the project. Theroux is reportedly jetting off to Paris Fashion Week for "research" purposes.
