Forty-one people were killed in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico’s deadliest city, in a 96-hour span, police said Tuesday. This means that one person was killed about every 2.3 hours. Among the dead was a 10-year-old boy who was shot and killed in an attack meant for his father, police said. Ten people were killed in an attack at a bar on Thursday, while five people were killed on Friday when a group of suspects threw a Molotov cocktail at a different bar. In 2010, 3,000 people were killed in Juarez, with many of the killings reported to be drug-related. Police said they are investigating this weekend’s attacks, but had not made any headway yet.
