One of Romney's biggest and most chronic problems in this campaign: he does not appeal to white working-class voters.

Today's Washington Post survey finds:

It finds that Romney’s favorability rating nationally is at just 37 percent among conservative Republicans and independents with incomes of under $50,000, versus 40 percent of them who view him unfavorably.

Mmm. I wonder if there's something that might win those people over. Wait ... wait ... I have it!

What about another huge tax cut for upper-income voters, on top of a pre-existing promise to make the Bush tax cuts permanent?

If we can assure voters earning less than $50,000 that their betters will have to pay no more than 28% on ordinary income and 15% on capital gains and carried interest, we're sure to win them for Mitt. Right?
