Michele Bachmann said Sunday that a "sense from God" confirmed that she was making the right decision to run for office. Bachmann, who is set to formally announce her presidential campaign in Iowa on Monday, said on CBS’ Face the Nation that as a Christian she firmly believes in the power of prayer. When the subject of same-sex marriage came up, Bachmann reiterated her belief that "marriage is between a man and a woman." She also addressed the recent legalization of gay marriage in New York state, saying that conflicts between states over the issue will ultimately "go to the courts." She evaded the question of whether or not, as president, she would nominate a judge who supported same-sex marriage.
