No gooooals in this one: The World Cup match between Portugal and the Ivory Coast, one of Africa's strongest teams, resulted in a 0-0 tie. The scoreless game was not for lack of trying, though: There was plenty of excitement and numerous opportunities to sink in a goal, but none were fruitful. The Ivory Coast managed to outplay Portugal for most of the game, even without their star striker Didier Drogba, who only entered in at the 66th minute of play. Portugal had the two best set-ups to score, with Cristiano Ronaldo kicking an 11th minute long shot that banged off the goal's left post and a header from Liedson caught by the Coast's goalie. The future of both teams are uncertain, as Brazil is likely to nab the first spot in Group G.
