British Prime Minister David Cameron unknowingly performed another public service Tuesday night when he illuminated us common folk to the rich-people ailment that is “shirt gape.” According to Telegraph fashion columnist Belinda White, “shirt gape” is a wardrobe malfunction in which shoddy buttoning of a tuxedo shirt accidentally exposes a man’s chest and belly. Things that could contribute to the fashion fiasco, according to White: “Too tight shirt. Too big boobs. Too much dinner.” Alas, Cameron succumbed to all of this at Tuesday’s Lord Mayor’s banquet in London. Can’t be unseen.
