Her reputation may be tarnished but at least Paula Deen won't be officially charged with racial discrimination. A U.S. District Court judge in Savannah, Georgia has thrown out claims by former restaurant manager Lisa Jackson that she was discriminated against while working at a restaurant owned by Deen and her brother Bubba Hiers. According to a representative for the disgraced Food Network star, Deen is "pleased with the court's ruling today" and "confident that those who truly know how she lives her life know that she believes in equal opportunity, kindness and fairness for everyone." Jackson also filed charges of sexual harassment against the siblings which the judge let stand.
