Another ruler might be losing his throne. In Australia, voters seem poised to kick out Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and the ruling Labor Party, which has spent six years in power. As citizens head to the polls on Saturday, a new survey shows the Liberal Party coalition leading by eight percentage points. The research organization, Newspoll, has accurately predicted the last 56 Australian federal and state elections. Opposition leader Tony Abbott doesn't have a lot of enthusiasm backing him, but voters have become frustrated enough with party instability and an unpopular carbon tax to elect him anyway.
