The man allegedly responsible for firing a gun at a Paris TV station, newspaper office, and bank headquarters on Monday and late last week was identified on Wednesday. French authorities took Abdelhakim Dekhar into custody and said his DNA matches that found at the crime scenes. Dekhar was previously imprisoned in 1998 for four years for taking part in another series of Paris shootings. During this recent string of attacks, he allegedly critically injured a 23-year-old newspaper employee, who is apparently recovering well.
