It looks like the Bridgegate scandal won't be quieting down any time soon. The New York Times reported Tuesday that the Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking at Chris Christie's former campaign manager, Bill Stepien, regarding the lane closures at the George Washington Bridge. Agents asked Stepien's landlord if he was a good tenant, paid his rent on time, and other personal questions. This is the first time that federal investigators have been revealed to be looking into Bridgegate, though they've been reportedly investigating allegations that the Christie administration ransomed federal Hurricane Sandy relief. A spokeswoman for the U.S. Attorney in New Jersey said, “We have acknowledged generally that we are looking into this, but can’t comment on the specifics of our inquiry.”
