Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton is denying accusations from a congressional wannabe that he is a pill-popping, "scary man for the state of Minnesota." Congressional candidate Mike Parry claims he saw Dayton take "15 to 16 pills" at an unspecified breakfast meeting. While Dayton has admitted that he takes prescribed antidepressants and antacids, he insists that he doesn't have a drug problem. Dayton also said he doesn't even know what breakfast meeting Parry was talking about but conceded that he does "take medicine as needed for stomach acid," and that "sometimes when I'm meeting with legislators, I need more of them." Parry has stood by his statement, while relenting that perhaps Dayton took less than 15 or 16 pills.
