Group Arrested in Journo Deaths

A Malian official said Monday that around six people were arrested by French forces in connection to the kidnapping and killing of two French journalists. Radio France Internationale journalists Ghislaine Dupont and Claude Verlon were kidnapped by four men on Saturday and reportedly shot point-blank. Police found the dead bodies next to the attackers’ car, and the intelligence official said the French troops tracked the attackers in sand before making the arrests.
