Jessica Chastain Wins Box Office

Jessica Chastain was the queen of the box office this weekend, starring in Hollywood’s two highest-grossing films. Mama, a supernatural thriller, took the top spot this weekend with a gross of $28.1 million. The Oscar-nominated Zero Dark Thirty, also starring Chastain, added $17.6 million to its haul, landing in the No. 2 spot. Silver Linings Playbook, featuring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence, was No. 3. Meanwhile, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s latest, The Last Stand, debuted in 10th place with $6.3 million. He probably won’t be back.
