A clip from a 2011 HBO special has surfaced showing comedians Louis C.K., Ricky Gervais and Chris Rock throwing around the n-word, according to reports. Their cringe-worthy conversation, which did air, was from a network’s special called “Talking Funny.” In the recording, Rock tells C.K. he is “the blackest white guy I know.” C.K. then asks “You say I'm a n-----?” Rock laughingly retorts to C.K. “you are the n-----est f-----g white man I have ever…” C.K. elaborates that he uses the slur on stage. Gervais said the n-word while explaining that he wouldn’t use it on stage. Jerry Seinfeld, who was also present for the special, did not use the word on air and said he wouldn’t use it during shows. In 2017, it was revealed that C.K. had repeatedly masturbated in front of women without their consent. Less than one year later, he returned to the stage, performing a set at New York City's Comedy Cellar, drawing criticism from female comedians.
