Marvel announced on Tuesday that the next Thor, God of Thunder, will be a woman. Come October the next superhero to wield the mighty hammer, Mjölnir, will be an entirely new female character. In a press release, Marvel released few details about their latest superhero. However, series writer Jason Aaron is quoted as stressing “This is not She-Thor. This is not Lady Thor. This is not Thorita. This is THOR. This is the THOR of the Marvel Universe. But it’s unlike any Thor we’ve ever seen before."
