Paladino Slams Gay Pride Parade

He’s at it again: At a meeting with Orthodox Jewish leaders in Brooklyn Sunday, volatile New York gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino attacked his opponent, Democrat Andrew Cuomo, for bringing his daughters to a gay-pride parade. “I don’t want [children] brainwashed into thinking homosexuality is an equal, valid and successful option,” Paladino said, declaring that he would veto a gay-marriage bill if passed. His prepared remarks also included: "There’s nothing to be proud of in being a dysfunctional homosexual." In a weak attempt to tone down his comments, Paladino added: “Don’t misquote me as wanting to hurt homosexual people in any way.”
