Famous strongman and boxer Joe Rollino was killed on Monday at age 104 after being struck by a minivan in Brooklyn. Rollino, who once lifted 3,200 pounds at Coney Island and could still bend quarters with his fingers, used to bill himself as the "Strongest Man in the World" in the carnival in the 1920s, and boxed under the name Kid Dundee, meeting Harry Houdini and watching Jack Dempsey knock out Jess Willard. Rollino, a nonsmoking, teetotaler vegetarian, was still the model of health at 104, his friends said.
