President Obama is disappointed in himself. Washington, D.C., is just as gridlocked as it was when he was elected, and he blames himself for not being able to change that. “I think that, you know, as president I bear responsibility for everything, to some degree,” he said during a 60 Minutes interview. Last week Mitt Romney slammed the president for saying “the most important lesson I’ve learned is that you can’t change Washington from the inside. You can only change it from the outside.” Obama’s Republican challenger almost immediately responded with: “His first two years he had a Democratic House, Democratic Senate, he got to do whatever the heck he wanted to, but he says he can’t change it from the inside. Well, I will.”
