New Orleans Cop Shot Dead Inside Car

A New Orleans police officer was shot dead Saturday inside his patrol car while transporting an arrested person. “That prisoner was able to get his hands out of the handcuffs and was able to get a firearm and shot Officer Holloway while he was driving,” said Police Chief Michael Harrison. Holloway crashed the squad car into a transformer and was transported to a hospital where he later died. A manhunt for the suspect, 33-year-old Travis Bois, is ongoing.
