Romanian Prime Minister Victor Ponta was indicted on corruption, money laundering, and tax evasion charges Monday. His assetts were also seized in relation to the charges, which stem from his work as an attorney prior to assuming his current role. Authorities say Ponta got as much as $61,000 from a member of parliament, but he still hasn't given up his post. His government position gives him immunity from some charges, like conflict of interest.
