Two people were injured Friday after a group of French soldiers fired at a car that was trying to run them over near a mosque they were guarding, ABC News reported. Frédéric Loiseau, the Secretary General of the Drome Prefecture, said the driver "deliberately" drove at the soldiers. There were no passengers in the red Peugeot 307, officials said. The suspect reportedly was shot in the arm and leg before being taken to the hospital. A bystander also suffered apparent leg injuries from a stray bullet or shrapnel.
