Journalism at its finest. Two CNN employees were caught trying to break into the World Trade Center Tuesday afternoon, reports the New York Post. Connor Boals, 26, and Yon Pomrenze, 35, were charged with trespassing, obstructing governmental administration, and disorderly conduct after they were caught at the gate to ground zero. “They were trying to prove a point,” said a Post source, referencing the case of base jumpers who leaped off the building and were arrested Monday. CNN said the men were not there on orders from the cable network. “We were just made aware of this and are actively looking into it,” said a CNN spokesperson.
