Mel Brooks Mourns Gene Wilder

Mel Brooks, who directed Gene Wilder in some of his most iconic movie roles, mourned the actor's death today on Twitter. "Gene Wilder-One of the truly great talents of our time," Brooks wrote. "He blessed every film we did with his magic & he blessed me with his friendship." Wilder passed away on Sunday at the age of 83 after complications from Alzheimer's disease, his family said. Brooks and Wilder were nominated for an Academy Award for writing Young Frankenstein.
