The presidential race should be about the economy, not dogs. But, just for the record, Mitt Romney has never eaten dog meat. In fact, he's never eaten anything out of the ordinary. Ever. Snails, escargot, oysters, etc. don't count. Mitt wants the world to know that he has never stepped outside his dietary comfort zone and tried something strange. Perhaps the most interesting—and entertaining—part of this Friday afternoon non-story are the comments readers have left contradicting Mitt's claim. "Well he ate the pension accounts of the workers Bain capital raided," noted one. "Romney continues to eat his foot," observed another. And while one commenter recalls, "Isn't there a picture of him eating money?" another puts this story into perspective by asking, "Who. The. Hell. Cares."
