On Thursday, San Diego Mayor Bob Filner admitted that he’s “failed to fully respect the women for me and with me.” Earlier in the day three high-profile San Diego residents alleged that he had sexually harassed “numerous” female employees. Filner released a video statement later in the afternoon, apologizing and saying he would change his behavior. “I’m also humbled to admit that I need help,” Filner said. He added that he was working with “professionals” and his staff would partake in sexual-harassment training. You stay classy, San Diego.
