In an attempt to break the Guinness world record for most skinny-dippers in the same place, 805 nudists headed to Haulover Beach and rushed into the water. As you might expect, there were thousands of spectators. The president of the South Florida Free Beaches Association, Richard Mason, described the water as “choppy and windy,” but overall “it was a successful event.” The conditions made it challenging for the swimmers to stay in the same area, but if the attempt is counted, they could be the new recordholders.
