Former New York congressman Anthony Weiner is on track to be released from prison three months early for “good conduct,” the New York Post reports. Weiner was sentenced to 21 months for sexting with a 15-year-old girl last year, and he has reportedly exhibited “model inmate” behavior during his time at Federal Medical Center in Devens, Mass. His release date is reportedly scheduled for May 2019, three months ahead of his original release date in August 2019. Weiner resigned from Congress in 2011 when it was first revealed that he was sexting women. He also lost the New York City’s mayoral race in 2013 after he continued to sext women under the pseudonym “Carlos Danger.” He then admitted in court last year that he sexted a high-school girl despite knowing she was underage. His wife, former Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, filed for divorce hours after he pleaded guilty in court.
