President Obama restated his case for a grand bargain on the debt ceiling, saying that Congress has "a unique opportunity to do something big." He still wants that agreement to include increased revenue, and insisted "that millionaires and billionaires can afford to do a little bit more." He drove home several times that polls show even Republican voters are in favor of increasing revenue. Obama said that he was willing to make tough decisions, such as restructuring Medicare, and urged Republicans to do the same.
