Sen. Chuck Schumer disclosed Monday afternoon that he was diagnosed with pneumonia several weeks ago. The revelation comes amid controversy over Hillary Clinton’s “medical episode” during a Sunday morning ceremony at New York’s Sept. 11 memorial, which was later revealed to have been the result of her own battle with pneumonia. “His doctor has pronounced him all cleared up and he’s feeling much better,” Schumer’s spokesman said in a statement. Schumer, the third-ranking Senate Democrat, and Clinton were both present at the memorial service.
