Emotional Alex Jones Sounds Alarm on Trump’s Failing Health

THE END

The host admitted the 79-year-old president “does look sick.”

Far-right broadcaster Alex Jones has claimed President Donald Trump’s failing health is now so bad that MAGA needs to stage an “intervention.”

A tearful Jones, 52, even compared Trump, 79, to his late grandfather, who suffered from dementia and “was dead a year before he physically died.”

Speaking on The Alex Jones Show on Tuesday, the host became emotional when he referenced some of the president’s most visible health issues, including his swollen ankles.

“When your ankles swell up three times the size they were before, that means heart failure,” Jones said, diagnosing the president’s health.

The Daily Beast has extensively covered Trump’s attempts to conceal his chronically bulbous ankles, as well as his bruised hand.

Jones then discussed the president’s cognitive and memory issues, which have led him to go off-script and ramble during lengthy speeches.

“He does look sick,” the conspiracy theorist said. “And he does babble... and sounds like the brain’s not doing too hot.”

Jones told his conservative audience it was time to “cut bait on Trump” to mobilize a new Republican against the Democrats.

Citing the rise of populist nationalist conservatives and a “Christian reawakening” in America, Jones said it was time to tap into all the good work Trump had done, but with a different Republican leader.

“Trump is just a minor figure in all of that now,” he claimed. “We have to be appreciative of the old Trump that went through so much and got so much done and that’s the Trump we remember.”

Jones, who was sued by families of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims after claiming the 2012 attack was staged, then became emotional when saying ailing health in later life “happens.”

“We need to be sad about Trump,” he said. “This is not funny, this is not good. But he’s gone. And that’s it.”

While Jones was discussing Trump’s physical ailments, a video overlay scrolled down to display the president’s swollen ankles.

Jones claimed that “the people rallied around” Trump, including Secretary of Defense Peter Hegseth and White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, were “freaked out” by the president’s health and behavior, but remained “loyal” to him.

“I just think Trump needs an intervention,” Jones said. “He needs to take some time off, we need to pray for Trump that the Holy Spirit touches his heart and loosen him from whatever evil control he’s under.”

Jones also discussed Trump’s sinking popularity, especially after starting his war on Iran, which has led to increased gas prices for Americans.

“Trump is in freefall, and that means we’re in freefall in the midterms,” the host said.

He also suggested a party line for possible Republican candidates who could replace Trump.

“Unless Republicans candidates say, ‘We are real America Firsters, we liked Trump in the past, we’re sorry, he’s obviously had an aneurysm or a stroke, but we’re not Trump, we’re gonna stop the Democrats,’” he said.

“We have to say ‘Too bad. Trump’s run off the edge of a cliff, and I don’t think he’s coming back from it.’”

He suggested Republicans could “triage” or “isolate” Trump.

“Explain that we’re not him... and we’re morally against this blowing up of Iranian water supplies he’s talking about,” Jones said, calling the conflict a “war crime any way you cut it.”

He continued, Republicans should “put pressure on him not to do that, and just continue on the moral, proper way to behave.”

Jones then talked about his grandfather having dementia at the end of his life.

“He fell all over the place, he was out of his mind,” Jones said. “The brain was gone.”

“He was dead a year before he physically died,” he added. “And I think Trump’s starting to enter that territory right now. And that’s the analogy I’ve got for you, and that’s what I really think.”

Both Trump and the White House have previously defended the president’s health. “President Trump is the sharpest, most accessible, and energetic president in American history,” White House spokesperson Davis Ingle told the Daily Beast after the president was spotted reading from comically large notes during an executive order signing on Tuesday.

The 79-year-old president’s swollen ankles prompted an evaluation by the White House Medical Unit in July, according to Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt.

“In recent weeks, President Trump noted mild swelling in his lower legs,” Leavitt said at the time. “In keeping with routine medical care and out of an abundance of caution, this concern was thoroughly evaluated by the White House medical unit.”

The Daily Beast has contacted the White House for comment.
