Two Harvard Law professors have agreed to represent the Harvard student who was “pinned down and struck in the stomach” by a cop Friday evening, according to The Boston Globe. Professors Ronald F. Sullivan Jr. and Dehlia Umunna have decided to take 21-year old Selorm Ohene’s case. Ohene was arrested at 10 p.m for “disorderly conduct, indecent exposure, resisting arrest, and assault” after police received calls and found him nude in the street “acting completely irrational.” A video from a bystander shows the Harvard student dropping to the ground and being punched five times while screaming, “Help me, Jesus! Help me, Jesus! Help me, Jesus!” Sullivan and Umunna, who both lead Harvard University’s Criminal Justice Institute, said, “The video speaks for itself.” Harvard President Drew Faust called the situation “profoundly disturbing.” Cambridge Police Commissioner Branville G. Bard Jr. claimed that Ohene approached officers with “opposition and hostility,” by “ clenching his fists and moving towards officers.”
