iPad 2 Versus the Competition

When Apple released the original iPad, it was the only game in town. Now, there’s competition from Motorola, BlackBerry, and HP. So should you buy an iPad 2? The specs from gizmo to gizmo aren’t too different, but Apple has one huge advantage: apps. Apple has over 65,000 apps designed specifically for the iPad, while the other devices simply have smart-phone apps that are stretched to fit on the large format. “I really like the hardware that HP, RIM, and Motorola, amongst others, have done,” writes Robert Scoble. “I just can’t recommend you buy any of those others. No apps, no sale. iPad wins big time.”
