Kanye Rants on Leaked Tape

Kanye is about as unfiltered as it gets when he’s on the record, so what about when he’s talking, say, to a recorder he doesn’t know is there? Gawker published an audiotape that appears to be the rapper ranting about his VMA incident with Taylor Swift, racism, and lots of other (very) loosely related subjects. “I fuckin’ care!” Kanye says, speaking of the verse he rewrote for Rihanna’s single “Run This Town.” “Because I wrote my verse in two days, Taylor Swift cannot beat Beyoncé! As long as I’m alive!” Asked on the tape why he’s so angry, West replies, “Because my mother got arrested for the fuckin’ sit-ins. My mother died for this fame shit!” And so it goes.
