Obama Approval Falls Below 40%

Well, that hurts. In the latest Gallup daily tracking poll, only 39 percent of Americans approve of President Obama’s work in the White House, and 53 percent say they disapprove. That number places Obama one percentage point away from his lowest ever, 38 percent, back in 2011. The botched rollout of the president’s health-care reform website and the weeks of negativity have taken a toll on an approval rating that was hovering in the 50s after his reelection.
