Paul Shakes Up Staff

If Rand Paul cut class the day that footnoting was taught, he didn't miss the day about crisis management. The Kentucky senator said in an interview Tuesday that he would be "restructuring" his office after several accusations this week of plagiarism. In the latest allegations, BuzzFeed accused Paul of plagiarizing a section of his book from a Forbes article. And on Monday, BuzzFeed reported that an editorial Paul wrote in The Washington Times in September is nearly identical to an article that ran in The Week one week before. BuzzFeed also alleged he plagiarized sections in his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 16. These allegations come on the heels of reports that he copied a section of his book and speeches from Wikipedia. Paul dismissed the initial allegations last week and (hopefully) jokingly threatened to "duel" his accusers.
