Has President Obama lost his best friend on Wall Street? JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, who supported Obama in 2008, met privately with Mitt Romney on Tuesday preceding a fundraiser for the GOP presidential contender hosted by Highbridge Capital, a JPMorgan–owned hedge fund. Sources tell the New York Post that Dimon, who cannot publicly endorse a candidate because of his seat on the board of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, has not attended any Obama fundraisers or donated privately to the president this election cycle. They also say Dimon has met privately with several GOP candidates.
