Romney to NRA: I’m Your Man!

When in doubt, cite the Constitution. Mitt Romney went on the offensive Friday, telling a crowd of NRA members in St. Louis that he’d be better for them than President Obama. Receiving wild applause and the occasional standing ovation during his 25-minute speech, Romney failed to touch on the core issues of the gun-toting crowd. That didn’t seem to matter. The Republican hopeful did a semi-rhetorical analysis of the president’s hot-mic moment, when Obama said he’d have “flexibility” after the election. “I’m not exactly sure what he meant by that, but looking at his first three years, I have a very good idea,” Romney said.
