RT YouTube Page Goes Black

The YouTube channel for RT, the Russian English-language news agency, suffered a temporary outage Monday night into Tuesday morning, raising suspicions that the blackout was purposefully orchestrated. RT has recently been seen as a Putin mouthpiece, and its reporting has been called into question by even its own American anchors, Liz Wahl and Abby Martin. When viewers went to the RT YouTube channel, they were greeted with the message "This channel has been suspended due to multiple or severe violations of YouTube’s policy against spam, scans, and commercially deceptive content.” YouTube's guidelines do not prohibit propaganda, though it does run a disclaimer for “misleading content.”
