U.S. Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte may have lost his major endorsements last week after he “over-exaggerated” a story about being robbed at gunpoint in Rio, but one company is willing to give him a new chance. Speedo USA, Polo Ralph Lauren, Gentle Hair Removal, and mattress manufacturer Airweave all dropped the gold-medal athlete last week, but throat drop manufacturer Pine Bros. announced Thursday that it had signed a deal with Lochte. “Just as Pine Bros. is forgiving to your throat, the company asks [the] public for a little forgiveness for an American swimming legend," the company said in its announcement. Lochte will appear in a television commercial and print advertisements for the company.
