Is another cartoonist row in store? Revolution Muslim, a New-York based Islamic group, issued a stern warning to the creators of the Comedy Central cartoon South Park following an episode that portrayed the Prophet Muhammad in a bear costume, while showing traditional images of other religious leaders. The group likened Trey Parker and Matt Stone, the duo behind the irreverent program, to Theo van Gogh, a Dutch filmmaker murdered by an Islamic militant in 2004. Abu Talhah Al-Amrikee wrote in a blog post that the episode "outright insulted" the Prophet. “We have to warn Matt and Trey that what they are doing is stupid, and they will probably wind up like Theo van Gogh for airing this show. This is not a threat, but a warning of the reality of what will likely happen to them.”
