The Kluge Estate Winery better get ready for a makeover: Real-estate mogul and GOP presidential wannabe Donald Trump just bought the property at a foreclosure auction. Socialite Patricia Kluge bought the vineyard after her divorce from billionaire media magnate John Kluge, and initially had success with winemaking. Her sparkling wines and blended reds won awards and were served at the White House, but she soon ran into financial trouble, and lost the vineyard to foreclosure in December. In the last few weeks, Trump has been buying up pieces of her estate, and on Thursday he bought the vineyard. “This place had a $28 million mortgage on it, and I bought it for $6.2 million,” he said. “It’s a Trump deal!” He says he will likely keep Kluge on to run the operation.
