Could the SEC charges be just the beginning of Goldman Sachs' troubles? A member of Senator Carl Levin’s staff tells Newsweek’s Michael Hirsh that he has discovered new documents “that link certain actions to specific people” at Goldman and that Levin believes that it’s “another big shoe to drop on Goldman.” The official doesn’t tell Hirsh the specific nature of the discovery, but it may be divulged on an April 27 hearing on “the role of investment banks.” Levin spokesman Bryan Thomas says, “We expect to have some information tomorrow.”
