Candidates Bicker Over Bain

The U.S. presidential election has reached a point in which each candidate is attempting to convince the public that his opponent is dishonest. President Obama has relentlessly attacked Mitt Romney’s tenure at Bain Capital, most recently positing questions about the former CEO’s income, taxes, and offshore bank accounts as well as claiming that he misrepresented how long he was in control of the company. The GOP challenger has hit back against these charges, arguing that the president is simply willing to say anything necessary to get reelected.
