A musical version of Roald Dahl’s 1961 children’s classic James and the Giant Peach will open a workshop production this fall at Goodspeed Musicals’ Norma Terris Theatre in Chester, Connecticut. The Pilobolus Dance Theater will create the dance elements, and Graciela Daniele will direct. Music was written by Justin Paul and lyrics by Benj Pasek; the performance will feature 19 dancers.
