And while the Republicans sent out Jersey enforcer Chris Christie this weekend to say that the “whole race is going to turn upside down come Thursday morning,” Romney’s camp took a more measured approach. “We’ve had some missteps, but at the end of the day, the choice is clear,” Republican vice-presidential nominee Paul Ryan said. “I don’t think one event is going to make or break this campaign.”
