An ISIS suicide attack claimed the lives of 130 people in an Iraqi marketplace on Saturday, the deadliest single attacks on a civilian target in the country in the past decade. A small truck detonated in a crowd of mostly Shiite people who had gathered to mark the end of Ramadan in the country's eastern Diyala province. At least 170 were injured in the attack. ISIS claimed responsibility in a statement posted on Twitter. “This horrible carnage is truly outside all boundaries of civilized behavior,” said Jan Kubis, special representative of the United Nations mission in Iraq.
