Italian police seized some 800 rifles on Thursday heading from Turkey to Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Police say the guns were traveling without proper authorization in a Dutch vehicle driven by a Turkish citizen. The weapons were taken at the Italian port of Trieste, as security has been ramped up since the Paris attacks two weeks ago.
